Staffmark hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our client's forward-thinking team! This is your chance to play a key role in a company recognized for excellence and cutting-edge solutions in the manufacturing space.

Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM

Pay: $20-$30/hr (Depending on Experience)

What You'll Do:



  • Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain machine programs using Gerbers, CAD, or CAM software
  • Generate kit lists and provide DFM (Design for Manufacturability) feedback
  • Create detailed setup sheets, work instructions, and process documentation for machines, materials, soldering, reflow, and inspection
  • Design and order stencils/tooling based on best practices; create paste layers from Gerbers as needed
  • Perform and train others on preventive and corrective maintenance for SMT machines and feeders
  • Manage parts ordering and inventory for maintenance needs
  • Support engineering in equipment setup, documentation, and qualification
  • Assist with Quality Management System (QMS) compliance and team training
  • Take on additional tasks as directed by the Process Engineering Manager



What We're Looking For:



  • Minimum 2 years of SMT experience, including programming of electronic assembly equipment (Mydata, Juki, DXP, HLC, Circuit Cam preferred)
  • Solid understanding of electrical components, Pick and Place machines, AOI, wave/selective soldering, and reflow ovens
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a sharp attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and follow technical documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; ERP system experience (ATC preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
