Location: Springdale, AR

Pay: $19 - $21 per hour

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities



  • Review medical records and assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
  • Ensure coding accuracy to meet regulatory, payer, and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with providers to clarify documentation and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Stay updated on coding guidelines, insurance policies, and medical terminology.
  • Assist with audits and provide feedback to improve documentation and coding accuracy.
  • Prepare and submit coded data timely for billing and reporting purposes.


Qualifications



  • Required: Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or equivalent certification.
  • 1+ years of medical coding experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
