Project Manager/Estimator

Staffmark is seeking a skilled Project Manager/Estimator for a direct hire opportunity with a reputable commercial cabinetry company in Gastonia, NC. This role is ideal for someone with experience in project management and cost estimating within the cabinetry or millwork industry.

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 (based on experience)

Schedule: Flexible Monday-Friday schedule

Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial cabinetry installation projects from start to finish.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams via phone, email, and in person.
• Conduct site visits, review design specs, and ensure projects meet codes and quality standards.
• Develop project plans, budgets, timelines, and material estimates.
• Calculate labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor, and transportation costs.
• Use estimating and project management software for takeoffs and planning.
• Prepare and present cost estimates and bid proposals.
• Identify project risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management and estimating (cabinetry or related field).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in project management and estimating software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license required.
