Production Planner and Scheduler

• Plan and schedule production across foam, straw, cutlery, and specialty product lines - including extruders.
• Partner with corporate planning and customer service to hit production deadlines and optimize equipment utilization.
• Track order flow, prioritize production for constrained capacities, and keep communication clear across departments.
• Manage raw material inventories and coordinate timely procurement of materials like foam beads, plastic pellets, boxes, inks, and repair parts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers - from negotiating contracts to ensuring timely deliveries.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate order receipts and documentation.

• Candidate must have 10 years of related experience.
• A proactive problem solver with strong planning, communication, and organizational skills.
• Someone who loves the challenge of keeping multiple moving parts aligned - and takes pride in seeing a production plan come to life.
