This Position reports to:

Key responsibilities

Are you ready to play an active role in shaping the future of energy distribution - not in the background, but in the middle of it, in dialogue with international partners and decision-makers?

In this role you will be responsible for implementing product marketing strategies in line with global product strategy. You will be part of the business development team, which is solving short-circuit current challenges and increase system availability and safety through active arc protection for our customers world-wide by selling our innovative fault current limiter and internal arc mitigation portfolio.

It's not just about sales figures, but about real relationships: They recognize potential, build long-term cooperations and accompany projects from vision to implementation.

The work model for the role is: hybrid (#LI-Hybrid)

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Taking full responsibility for marketing activities in your allocated countries - including travel activity of around 30%

• Working closely with customers to solve technical challenges and optimize their electrical grid using our products

• Design segment-specific solutions based on our portfolio and scale them across the market

• Conducting presentations and training on our product portfolio to various stakeholders to identify business opportunities

• Contribution to the launch and refinement of innovative products from our development pipeline

• Representation of ABB at international trade fairs and conferences

Qualifications for the role

• Degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable

• Several years of experience in the field of Product Marketing, Technical Sales or Product Management

• Demonstrated experience working with electrical systems such as medium and/or low voltage products or switchgear

• Fluent written and spoken German and English, other foreign languages are an advantage

• Confident handling of MS Office

• Strong communication skills, initiative and enjoyment of networking

• Willingness to travel internationally and intercultural competence
