Software and E-Commerce Manager

Reports to: Chief Information Officer

Supervises: N/A

Summary Statement: The Software and E-Commerce Manager is responsible for overseeing all software systems implementation, support, and rollout across the organization while managing the performance and profitability of e-commerce operations. This position plays a key role in driving measurable revenue growth through strategic technology initiatives, website optimization, and innovative digital solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Essential Job Functions



  • Provide leadership for all software systems, ensuring successful implementation, ongoing support, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the design, rollout, and integration of software tools that enhance business operations and customer experience.
  • Manage the full P&L for e-commerce operations, driving profitability and sustainable revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize digital sales channels, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
  • Oversee daily operations of bscsource.com and related online marketplace initiatives.
  • Continuously update and optimize the e-commerce website to ensure accurate pricing, compelling product content, and seamless functionality that drives revenue growth.
  • Rewrite and modernize the e-commerce website to improve functionality, user experience, and visual design, with a focus on driving measurable revenue growth.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while meeting defined business objectives.
  • Responsible for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Google Analytics, and other digital analytics tools to maximize online visibility and performance.
  • Monitor key e-commerce metrics and analytics to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Drive process improvements and leverage technology to enhance operational scalability and user satisfaction.
  • Manage and mentor teams responsible for e-commerce support, software projects, and digital initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the technology and e-commerce teams.

Qualifications

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities



  • Must have proven leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional technology and e-commerce teams.
  • Must have a strong understanding of software lifecycle management, digital platforms, and systems integration.
  • Must have expertise in SEO, Google Analytics, and digital performance tracking tools.
  • Must have demonstrated success in driving online revenue growth and optimizing user experience.
  • Must have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Must have strong project management skills with a record of on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO 5.3 standards and organizational best practices is preferred.


Education and Work Experience



  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field is required. A master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in software management, e-commerce operations, or IT leadership is required.
