What to Expect Tesla is in need of Senior or Staff Mechanical Engineers to design vehicle propulsion rotors. Foster your drive for continuous improvement by increasing performance while reducing energy consumption and balancing cost efficiencies. Come join the driven team working on the most impactful motors in the world. Own taking the hardware designs from concept and ideation to high volume production. You will work with electromagnetic, cooling, lubrication, manufacturing and strategic supply chain teams to optimize designs for next gen vehicle applications What You'll Do 3D CAD and 2D drawings for rotors, speed sensing and interconnect assemblies Driving choices and development in:rotor assembly, magnet technology, steel stamping and lamination joining, interconnections, thermal sensing.
