Flooring Sales Consultant

Are you passionate about interior design, customer service, and helping people bring their home improvement visions to life? Staffmark is seeking a dedicated Flooring Sales Consultant to join a growing showroom team in Monroe, LA. This role offers a great opportunity to work with a variety of flooring products and customers, from homeowners to contractors.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Greet customers in the showroom and guide them through flooring options that match their style, budget, and project needs
• Provide expert knowledge of hardwood, tile, laminate, carpet, and vinyl flooring products
• Create accurate estimates, quotes, and invoices
• Stay up to date on product trends, vendor offerings, and pricing
• Process customer orders and schedule deliveries and installations
• Coordinate with installation teams to ensure project timelines and specifications are met
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain organized, visually appealing showroom displays
• Track leads, follow up with customers, and meet or exceed monthly sales goals
• Build lasting relationships with both residential and commercial clients

What You Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience in retail sales, customer service, or home improvement (flooring experience is a plus)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and sales skills
• Basic math and computer proficiency (POS systems, Microsoft Office, CRM tools)
• Ability to read blueprints or room measurements is a plus
• Professional appearance, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic
