The Opportunity

As Senior Director, Global Enterprise 3rd Party & Marquee Events, you will own the end-to-end global event strategy that transforms premier sponsorships and industry conferences and align closely with Adobe's Global Marketing Organization (GMO) on marquee events (Summit, MAX) into content rich immersive experiences that drive global brand leadership and enterprise pipeline.

You will oversee the full lifecycle of worldwide 3rd party participation - from negotiating high-value sponsorships to shaping activations and customer journeys - while also guiding the success of Adobe's Marquee events. This role is about redefining how events are done, creating innovative experiences that extend beyond the show floor, amplify thought leadership on a global stage, and embed events into the core of Adobe's enterprise campaigns. What you'll do
  • Design and drive a unified global event framework that sets the standard for how Adobe shows up worldwide - transforming sponsorships, conferences, and marquee events into high-impact platforms that advance brand leadership, fuel enterprise pipeline, and showcase Adobe innovation on a global stage.
  • Present strategy, progress, and results regularly to Adobe Executives, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and visibility at the highest levels.
  • Develop pre-, during-, and post-event customer journeys powered by content-rich and immersive experiences.
  • Lead content strategy across keynotes, panels, and storytelling platforms that elevate thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with Adobe's internal Global Marketing Organization (GMO) to stay aligned year round on marquee events like Summit & MAX.
  • Work with key global partners - including conference organizers, industry associations, and strategic sponsors - to maximize impact, secure high-value opportunities, and elevate Adobe's presence worldwide.
  • Partner on immersive tech experiences - from live demos and innovation labs to forums - ensuring alignment with integrated campaigns.
  • Negotiate multimillion-dollar sponsorships, manage global agencies, and deliver flawless execution across formats.
  • Define KPIs, deliver reporting to senior leadership, and continuously optimize for ROI and global scalability.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing global team, fostering innovation and accountability.
What you'll need to succeed
  • 20+ years of progressive experience in enterprise event leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in end-to-end 3rd party event strategy and content-rich and immersive integrated campaign execution at scale.
  • Strong background in content strategy, thought leadership platforms, and practitioner speaker programs.
  • Track record of connecting events to measurable business outcomes (pipeline, revenue influence, brand leadership).
  • Experienced in negotiating multimillion-dollar sponsorships and managing global agency/vendor networks.
  • Demonstrated ability to present strategies and outcomes effectively to senior executives and secure alignment at the highest levels.
  • Strong leadership presence with outstanding storytelling and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.

Preferred Skills

  • Deep expertise in B2B enterprise technology, SaaS, or digital transformation industries, with strong awareness of practitioner audiences.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technology into compelling event narratives and immersive tech experiences that resonate across practitioners and influencers.
  • Experience building strategic partnerships with global conference organizers, industry associations, and media outlets to secure high-value visibility opportunities.
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to measure, optimize, and scale content-rich and immersive experiences across global markets.
  • Track record of leading and mentoring senior-level teams in high-performance, global marketing or event organizations.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $167,900 -- $366,700 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
