Summary: Provides overall leadership for the development of Spend Management solutions, data governance strategies, and market initiatives for Provista, Vizient Owned/Leased/Managed (OLM) and Independent Community Market (ICM) clients. Offers strategic direction in identifying emerging markets, products, solutions, and business partnerships for the various markets. Additionally, leads the development and execution of data strategies across spend management categories - accelerating data capture, analysis, and category specific activation, pricing and coverage opportunities that enable faster sales. Role Responsibilities:
- Foster a culture of innovation with category teams, continuously seeking opportunities to improve and expand solutions and accelerate data capture.
- Coordinate a team of subject matter experts to translate non-acute provider strategic spend management challenges and industry trends into innovative and effective solutions.
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for Ambulatory and ICM markets.
- Work with Category and Market leaders to adapt, develop, and acquire solutions and capabilities to grow revenue, market share, and client engagement.
- Manage market research and oversee non-acute advisory member councils, identifying strategy and focus areas to meet and exceed customer needs.
- Collaborate with teams responsible for negotiating and preparing custom contracts specific to Provista markets, customers, and channel partners.
- Develop and implement data strategies to maximize the value of organizational data assets.
- Lead the ambulatory data and digital platform strategy, ensuring timely, high-quality data to support products and services while maintaining excellent member satisfaction.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring data quality and integrity through validation and cleansing processes.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of data initiatives and sourcing roadmaps.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements, ensuring availability and optimization of data architecture, infrastructure, and systems.
- Identify and evaluate data tools, technologies, and platforms, providing guidance and support to data users and stakeholders.
- Lead data-related projects, including data collection, integration, migration, and transformation.
- Monitor and report on data-related KPIs and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data management.
- Build and maintain cross-functional collaboration with Provista, Vizient, and external partners to align solutions with client needs and organizational goals.
- Drive data-driven decision-making across departments by ensuring access to high-quality, actionable data.
- Evaluate and prioritize initiatives to align with organizational goals, ensuring high-value outcomes for clients and stakeholders.
- Foster accountability and innovation across teams to maintain competitive positioning in the Ambulatory and ICM space.
Qualifications:
Master's degree preferred (MHA, MBA, or any related Data or Analytics field) 10+ years of relevant experience with managing enterprise data assets Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Excellent time management and organizational skills desired. Strong analytical and problem solving skills required as well as Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel) Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner. Demonstrated strategic thinking, ability to manage complex projects to completion as well as the willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and be involved with the team and the project activities, as appropriate Proven ability to manage and mentor team members, lead and influence cross-functional working groups, manage project teams, and achieve results
Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $156,500.00 to $290,100.00.
