Job Details
The Advanced Practice Provider works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team and is responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive and age-appropriate care to both well and ill patients; educates patients and families, intervenes in acute or chronic illness, coordinates oncologic care between Unity, Sibley and Howard and other providers as appropriate; obtains appropriate patient histories and performs physical examinations. Other activities are in support of patient/family education, staff education, unit activities, and psychosocial care of patient and family. Sibley Memorial Hospital is a non-profit, full service 318 bed acute care community hospital serving the Washington, DC area. Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopaedic, skilled nursing inpatient services, and a state-of-the-art 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley's campus, with its new patient tower, is also home to the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center, the Johns Hopkins National Proton Therapy Center, Grand Oaks -- an assisted living residence -- a medical building with physician offices and an ambulatory surgery and imaging center. Salary Range: Minimum 63.31/hour - Maximum 98.13/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
