As a Security Officer - Front Desk Security Clearance in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will be stationed at a location supporting the aero and defense industry, where you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and staff. Your role involves monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service while helping to deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $21.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials for personnel and guests in accordance with established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, visitor entries, and any security-related incidents.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, communicating promptly with appropriate personnel and/or first responders.
• Support the overall security-related operations of the site in alignment with the requirements of a high-security aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
