Summary

One Chobani's Product Development team both brings innovation to life as well as manages in-market platforms as they evolve and expand. From consumer-based research and product strategy through development, commercialization and implementation, PD shepherds' products to the shelf and then works to optimize, expand, and curate product platforms

This role will drive development of LaColombe products from idea to launch through project management and cross-functional collaboration. It requires strong leadership to drive top line and bottom-line growth through launch of new products, optimization of existing product portfolios, and supporting productivity initiatives. The role is highly cross functional and both strategic and tactical in nature, and serves as a leadership role within the Coffee Platform Team.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the Product Development engine at La Colombe as a leader and trusted voice throughout the organization
  • Develop project briefs for all LaColombe initiatives and lead kick-off meetings with clear communication of objectives, milestones and KPIs. This includes innovation initiatives as well as line extensions and product optimizations.
  • Support packaging and structure initiatives with timelines and cross-functional coordination from idea to implementation
  • Report and track project status, key decisions, new projects and any other challenges or updates to leadership team.
  • Hold regular status meetings and create project plans to provide and track milestones and deadlines with the cross-functional team that are in line with customer requirements
  • Work closely with Platform Strategy, Creative, Operations, Engineering, R&D, Quality, Finance and other key stakeholder groups to ensure timely communication and proper alignment
  • Maintain a close relationship with R&D through product development process including tasting feedback, raw material approvals, trials, and supply chain feasibility
  • Partner with Regulatory and Legal to ensure claims feasibility and claim support
  • Reporting of project status, key decisions, and any other challenges to leadership team Platform Team meetings and other recurring meetings
  • Ability to anticipate and escalate possible delays in deliverables with corrective action plans
  • Champion P&L for all initiatives in partnership with Finance from ideation all the way through implementation
  • Support post-launch P&L platform reviews and productivity initiatives
  • Support future platform strategy workstreams and portfolio management activity
  • Deep knowledge of entire CPG portfolio
  • Maintain a deep understanding of marketplace and competitor launches
  • Support sell-in and sampling initiatives for new launches
  • Brief creative teams for packaging artwork and follow closely for development, sales renders, claims approvals and final routing
  • Coordinate go-to-market activities assuring business strategy is seen through
  • Support packaging initiatives with timelines and cross-functional coordination from idea to implementation
  • Continue optimizing tools, meetings and processes as needed to create the most efficient working environment
  • Other duties as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7-10 years of work experience in consumer products development, management or marketing
  • Self-motivated with effective project and time-management skills and the ability to balance multiple complex projects simultaneously with strong prioritization skills
  • Mastery of SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint including the ability to build ownable models, dashboards and tools
  • Familiarity with project management tools (i.e. MS project, Smartsheet)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with cost of goods and P&L management
  • Ability to build trust and confidence by sharing information, presenting research and data objectively, and providing feedback confidently
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; able to effectively communicate cross-functionally and through all levels of management
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm
  • Team player, with the ability to inspire and be inspired by many different types of people and roles

Compensation Range: $125,000.00-$188,000.00, plus bonus.
