Summary:
The Department of Surgery is seeking a highly motivated Administrative Coordinator to support the SOM Surgical Oncology Division. This position will serve as the primary administrative assistant to the Division Chief, providing high-level administrative and clerical support. The coordinator will also assist multiple subdivisions in the Surgical Oncology division, including faculty and Advanced Practice Providers. Responsibilities:

* Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Division Chief and Surgical Oncology providers

* Manage calendar scheduling, coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements

* Support providers with national organizations and committees

* Process expense reports and handle purchasing activities

* Screen incoming calls and visitors in a professional manner

* Assist with faculty interviews and onboarding of new faculty

* Manage confidential information with discretion

* Monitor and respond to emails and electronic faxes as directed

* Process faculty Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Education Requirements:
* High School diploma or GED
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* No licensure or certification required.
Professional Experience Requirements:
* Three (3) years of clerical or administrative experience.
* If Bachelor's degree, one (1) year ofclerical or administrative experience.
* If Associate's degree, two (2)years of clerical or administrative experience.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

* Strong verbal and written communication abilities

* Demonstrated customer service orientation

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

* Capable of working independently and meeting deadlines

* Experience in project management

* Background in professional writing and editing preferred
