YOUR ROLE: The position is responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis, building and maintaining financial models and providing actionable financial insights to support decision-making. Additionally, they will assist in leading the budgeting and forecasting processes, preparing senior leadership-level financial reports, all while collaborating and supporting various stakeholders throughout cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will leverage their financial experience to translate complex financial data into actionable insights, contributing to the overall profitability and efficiency of the organization. In your daily job you will: 
 Accountable for consolidating, analyzing & reportingGlobal EDS monthly Actual/Fcst reportsFocus on revenue reporting, with ability to segment across platforms, customers, regions, etc. and explain main business driversProvide meaningful profitability (I/S) analysisEnsure reporting is compliant with company policyEnsure all corporate and divisional allocations throughout EDS business segment are understood, are correct, documented, communicated and properly actionedHighlight and discuss the main drivers of various performance variancesPrepare consolidated financial reports, analyses and presentations to senior managementAssist in the wider preparation of close processes, monthly/quarterly business reviews (MBR/QBR) and budget (BBP) work within the Global FP&A TeamAssist with planning and communication to regional teams for reporting timelinesSupport global data requests from cross-functional teamsSupport leadership as needed with ad hoc projectsDrive to continuously improve and enhance key reporting processes and outputs ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
 Work with regions to get EDS monthly actual/forecast revenue and prepare consolidated EDS BU financialsEnsure results are consistent across deliverables and aligned across constituentsProvide meaningful revenue analysis: volume drivers by customer, segment, powertrain and others; price variances, FX/Comm variances; others.Work with the regions as well as VP of Engineering for EDS to ensure forecasts and budgets are prepared and tie out, and that costs/drivers are understood and documentedBuild a model to understand the profitability/customer recovery of engineering costs across the EDS regions for reporting each month identifying corrective action/recommendationsEnsure that engineering reporting is compliant with company policyEnsure all corporate and divisional allocations through EDS are understood, correct, documented, communicated and actionedHighlight and discuss the main drivers of various performance variancesAd hoc analysis as required by FP&A teamSupport in the wider preparation of close, MBR/QBR and Budget work in the Global FP&A Team and adjacent functions/departments YOUR BACKGROUND Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are: 
 Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting or finance requiredAutomotive or manufacturing sector experience preferred2-5+ years' experience of relevant experience2-5+ years' experience of financial analysisStrong analytical background and knowledge of financial statements with attention to detailAbility to bridge financial data to tell a story conciselyCritical thinking and problem-solving abilities with capability to simplify complex itemsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsStrong planning, time management abilities (highly independent) and ambitiousMicrosoft Excel (Advanced)Prior knowledge of SAP ERP system and HFM (Hyperion), helpful but not required PREFERRED SKILLS/QUALIFIATIONS:
