This position is responsible for setting up and operating the knot assembly machines that produce quality knots from components of filament, ferrules, and plugs in accordance with standard efficiency and safety procedures.

Additional Information

1st Shift: 5:00am - 1:00pm

This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.

Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and vendors.


  • Set up multiple machines according to specification in a timely manner by adjusting plug stations and changing plugs when needed
  • Must be able to adjust the ferrule hopper and ferrule track in accordance with work order to accommodate varying stock size, lay out, weight, etc.
  • Continuously operate machine at the specified run speed and keep hoppers full of ferrules and track full of stock
  • Check knot for proper plug position and length out
  • Monitor machine and communicate with other operators as to the quality of the knots being produced and trouble shoot any potential problems.
  • Maintain SPC sheet and correct count of brushes needed for the order
  • Obtain route sheet and check materials needed
  • Using scanners to track incoming and outgoing orders
  • Participate in housekeeping activities that is a reflection of a safe work environment
  • Adhere to attendance policy

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least have (1) one year of experience working with machinery in a manufacturing environment
  • At least have one (1) year of work experience monitoring the quality of raw materials and/or finished goods
  • Experience with fine manipulation (such as sewing, cutting hair or related activities)
