Job Description Position Summary: Troubleshoots and repairs industrial machinery electrical systems, mechanical systems and electronic components. Shift:2nd shift Pay rate: $21.00/hr Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform equipment preventative maintenance activities Troubleshoot machines and equipment breakdowns to diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic problems. Disassemble and reassemble machines assemblies and sub-assemblies to perform repairs Replace broken or defective machine and equipment parts Replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, motors and positions sensing devices. Follow all applicable EHS, Quality and Food Safety procedures and protocols, and reports any incident to his/her supervisor. Complete all EHS, Quality and Food Safety applicable training. Support implementation of the Quality and Food Safety program and comply with the expectations if this role is included as part of the Food Safety or Internal Audit team. Diagnose, repair and replace faulty electronic components such drives and PLCs Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Experience: A.S. Degree in Mechanical or Electronics Technology preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of education. 2 - 5 years industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
