Description & Requirements
The Compensation Senior Associate plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining compensation programs that support the organization's strategic objectives. This role is responsible for conducting complex data analysis, benchmarking, and modeling to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices across the organization.
What You Will Do:
  • Conduct market pricing and benchmarking using salary surveys and internal data
  • Analyze compensation trends and provide insights to support pay decisions and program design
  • Support the development and administration of base pay structures, incentive plans, and other compensation programs
  • Assist in the annual compensation planning cycle, including merit increases, bonus calculations, and salary structure updates
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to ensure competitive and equitable offers
  • Maintain compensation systems and tools, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Ensure compensation practices comply with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, pay equity)
  • Support internal and external audits related to compensation.
  • Prepare and present compensation reports and dashboards for HR leadership and business stakeholders
  • Develop communication materials to support compensation programs and educate employees and managers
  • Ability to manage survey participation, interpret results, and liaise with external compensation consultants.
  • Ability to present complex compensation data to HR partners, business leaders, and finance teams in a clear, compelling manner.
  • Translate business strategy into compensation solutions that attract, retain, and motivate talent.
  • Identify compensation issues and recommend data-driven, compliant, and scalable solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
  • Extensive understanding of compensation principles, including base pay, incentive design, and total rewards strategy
  • Expertise in using compensation surveys to evaluate market competitiveness for professional services roles
  • Familiarity with job leveling frameworks, career pathing, and job evaluation methodologies
  • Knowledge of U.S. labor laws and regulations affecting compensation (e.g., FLSA, Equal Pay Act, Pay Transparency laws, OFCCP compliance).
  • Strong organizational skills to manage compensation cycles, program rollouts, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Handle sensitive compensation data with integrity and professionalism.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, client-driven environment with shifting priorities and high expectations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 + years of relevant experience
  • SHRM-CP, CCP or PHR certifications
  • Proficiency in Workday and Payfactor systems
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, modeling), and experience with data visualization tools
