Job Description

Visa Money Movement is an exciting, new payment service that Visa provides to clients including issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants, remitters and service providers to facilitate domestic and cross-border fund transfers/disbursements to accounts in the U.S. and around the world.

This role is part of the North America Money Movement Strategy and Operations team. You will lead high-impact, cross-functional programs that launch leading payment solutions for our most strategic clients. We seek a dynamic, strategic client delivery lead who excels in ambiguous environments and has a proven record of scaling businesses through effective execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Planning - Develop and communicate integrated program plans, defining scope, objectives, milestones, and timelines.
  • Technical Planning - Support technical decision-making and architecture planning with solutioning and product leads.
  • Client & Executive Engagement - Lead Steering Committee meetings and executive updates to drive decisions and resolve critical issues.
  • Workstream Integration - Coordinate multiple workstreams (Solutioning, Network, Treasury, Operations, Compliance, Client Services) to ensure timely, high-quality delivery and team alignment.
  • Stakeholder Communication - Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and project teams, ensuring transparency on progress, risks, and issues.
  • Risk Management - Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Change Management - Manage scope changes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and clear stakeholder communication.
  • Quality Assurance - Ensure deliverables meet standards and quality expectations.
  • Performance Monitoring - Use KPIs to track and report program performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Resource Management - Allocate resources efficiently, ensuring necessary tools, personnel, and budget are available.
  • Budget Management - Oversee financial aspects, maintain projects within budget, and provide financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement - Promote best practices and continuous improvement across programs and the organization.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Proven program management experience, ideally in payments, fintech, or enterprise platforms.
  • Track record of delivering complex technical programs across distributed teams.
  • Strong understanding of payment platform architectures, APIs, and microservices.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while coordinating with cross-divisional teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Critical thinker with the ability to synthesize findings for executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Highly organized and adaptable to changing priorities and roles.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification.
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills, especially in matrixed organizations.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 169,100.00 to 245,400.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
