Repairman

As a Repairman, your primary responsibility is to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various mechanical, electrical, and structural issues in a wide range of equipment, machinery, appliances, or systems.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Repairman: Pay commensurate with experience.

Repairman Responsibilities Include:

• Inspecting and diagnosing equipment, machinery, or systems to identify faults or malfunctions.
• Repairing or replacing defective parts, components, or systems using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Conducting routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns or malfunctions.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving to identify the root cause of equipment issues.
• Testing and evaluating equipment functionality after repairs or maintenance.
• Following repair manuals, schematics, or technical specifications to ensure proper repair procedures.
• Providing clear explanations and guidance to customers regarding repair processes, costs, and timelines.
• Maintaining accurate records of repairs, including parts used and work performed.
• Adhering to safety guidelines, regulations, and company policies while performing repairs.
• Collaborating with team members or supervisors on complex repair projects.
• Keeping up to date with industry standards, codes, and best practices related to repair and maintenance.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Repairman Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

• Proven experience in equipment repair, maintenance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or structural systems and components.
• Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the repair project.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repairs in various settings.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
