Get to Know Your Team: UT Health East Texas is comprised of 9 hospitals, more than 90 clinics, nearly 7,500 employees and over 1,000 licensed inpatient beds. We provide healthcare services through our hospitals, clinics, Level 1 trauma facility, air emergency fleet and EMS service. Responsibilities This position requires a positive, professional demeanor while providing protection and assistance for the hospital visitors and employees. Important that they take notice of safety concerns or any violations within the organization and uphold the Standard of Behaviors that are set by the organization. Qualifications Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Two (2) to three (3) years' experience in Law Enforcement, institutional security program, or honorable military service. Must obtain security officer license with the Texas Board of Private Investigators and Private Security Agencies within 90 days Must be able to qualify to carry firearms Possess a current Texas Driver's License Possess current Auto Liability Insurance in accordance with Texas Law Preferred Job Requirements: Some college education preferred
