Desktop Support Technician Location: Frankfort, KY \| On-Site \| Intermediate Level Overview: We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our Field Services team, providing on-site technical support to end users across various departments. This role requires hands-on experience with desktop support in a Windows-based environment, strong troubleshooting abilities, and excellent customer service skills. Key Responsibilities: * Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software. * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, and peripherals. * Perform hardware repairs and replacements as needed. * Provide responsive support for password resets, account access, and basic network connectivity. * Document support activities and escalate unresolved issues appropriately. * Interact directly with end users to deliver clear, courteous, and effective technical assistance. Required Skills: * Proficiency in Windows 11 and basic network troubleshooting. * Experience with desktop deployment and imaging. * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. * Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience supporting Office applications and mobile devices. * Knowledge of Active Directory and user account management. * Understanding of LAN/WAN environments and printer support. * Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset. * Candidates with IT education or certifications are encouraged to apply. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
