Overview: We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator / Senior IT Support Specialist to join a dynamic team supporting instructional device services. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional who thrives in a customer-facing environment and enjoys solving complex IT challenges in an enterprise setting. Key Responsibilities: * Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot departmental printing and phone systems. * Provide next-tier technical support for desk phones, printers, endpoint connectivity, and departmental software. * Deliver exceptional customer service and technical assistance to end users. * Monitor and maintain the performance, reliability, and security of departmental hardware and software. * Assist with deployment and support of new software and hardware solutions. * Collaborate with Tier 1 support teams to escalate and resolve advanced technical issues. * Train end users on proper use and troubleshooting of VoIP, printers, network tools, and software systems. * Document and update technical procedures, support guides, and knowledge base articles. * Participate in occasional on-call support duties as defined by the team manager. Top Skills Required: * Proven experience in enterprise-level technical support and systems administration. * Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows 11, Office 365, Chromebooks, and network/software issues. * Experience supporting and maintaining audio/visual systems, printers, and other peripherals. Preferred Tools & Platforms: * Active Directory * MS Intune * Google Workspace * ServiceNow * SCCM Qualifications: * Expert-level experience in IT support or systems administration. * Strong communication and customer service skills. * No specific certifications required, but relevant technical experience is essential. * Ability to support staff both onsite and remotely. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Frankfort, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
