Warehouse Supervisor Classification: Non-Exempt Salary Range: $26.00 We are seeking a Storeroom/Warehouse Supervisor to join our team! This position will be responsible to oversee the warehouse operations and ensure the efficient management of inventory. Essential Functions Plan, develop, and coordinate daily work schedule Supervise warehouse personnel to ensure all required materials are properly received, stored, inventoried, etc. Communicate with shift and all internal departments to ensure requests are filled correctly and minimal time of request. Conduct physical inventory in accordance to schedules Schedule shift personnel following proper bidding procedures Monitor and control warehouse costs to ensure budgeted costs are met Ensures proper, safe and clean operation Communicates all related matters to shift personnel through daily and monthly meetings Produces required shift reports, documentation, etc. Skills and Qualifications Minimum 2 year of related warehouse and inventory experience Must be reliable and professional Able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays Able to work with others as a team player and efficiently direct a team Able to understand, read, communicate and write English Able to work in a fast passed demanding environment. Basic math skills required Computer literate - Word, Excel Lead or supervisor experience a plus Supervisory Responsibility This position has supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job operates in a professional food manufacturing environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods as well as lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and is exposed to extreme cold from refrigeration. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time exempt position in a 24/7/365 work environment. Flexibility with weekdays, evenings and weekend required.
