This position plays a critical role in ensuring that large volumes of currency are processed efficiently and securely each day. Daily Responsibilities Empty all cash from vaults into bins and prepare for processing. Straighten and unfold cash before feeding it into bill counters. Operate bill counters to bundle currency into predetermined amounts. Connect conveyor systems to vaults for coin retrieval and counting. Identify and remove counterfeit or damaged coins. Attach coin deposit bags to counting machines and operate the conveyor belt to feed coins into hoppers for counting and bagging. Weigh and seal heavy coin bags and prepare bank and armored car deposit slips. Record total cash deposit amounts and maintain accurate transaction documentation. Assist with general office and administrative tasks as needed. Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Currency Processor or in a related financial handling role. Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills. Ability to follow detailed written or verbal instructions accurately. Comfortable performing repetitive manual tasks and lifting heavy coin bags. Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
