Scope:

The candidate for this position must desire to work and grow within the Environmental Health and Safety field. Although this position is primarily Health & Safety related the EHS supervisor will be responsible for some environmental compliance work with supervision from the EHS manager.

This position is responsible for all aspects of the health and safety program as well as continuous improvement projects to ensure TTM excels in this realm.

The position reports to the site EHS manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Analyze safety metrics to identify trends and establish improvement projects and procedures to reduce future risk.

* Utilize the Observation system to ensure employee concerns are addressed and to help identify trends requiring attention.

* Manage employee injuries and work within the Worker's Compensation system to ensure injured employees are supervised through the process and return to their work assignment efficiently

* Schedule and conduct Industrial hygiene monitoring and recordkeeping

* Work with consultants to complete permitting packages and work with State & Local governments to secure permits required by the facilities in the region.

* Manage the safety committee and first aid teams

* Assist in the management of wastes and reclaim streams to ensure proper handling and disposition.

* Review capital projects to ensure employee health & safety concerns are being addressed

* Develop and analyze data to create predictive models for use in future employee health and welfare projects and training opportunities.

* Manage the fire protection systems by working with contractors to schedule testing and repairs

* Work with production to be proactive with any design/process changes that will have a health or safety impact.

* Assist in conducting environmental, health & safety site evaluations in conjunction with the EHS department and 3rd party environmental consultants to develop efficient site compliance strategies

* Develop and conduct monthly impactful health and safety training sessions

* Responsibilities include the reporting of all accidents, near misses and safety concerns. Perform job duties utilizing the required and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Full participation in safety training

and the ability to understand and follow the directions identified in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and all Safety Procedures and alerts.

* Facilitates and attends meetings, communicates regularly with managers and supervisors, suggests and composes procedural changes, attends special training, maintains a clean, safe work environment and communicates to supervisors' safety hazards and issues.

Education and Experience:

* Four Year Degree in a related field preferred, but not required

* First Aid response training a plus

Required Experience:

* 3-5 years in a safety role in a manufacturing setting

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

* Must possess good interpersonal, analytical, verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to multitask and lead by example.

* Work up to 10 plus hours a day, 5 days a week, and is flexible.

* Must be reliable and dependable. Must also be a fast learner.

* Available for calls from off-shift supervisors after office hours

* Read and understands specifications and procedures

* Has good reading vision, and is able to sit for up to 10 hours per day.

* Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident.

* Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position.

Export/ITAR Statement:

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
