Buckeye Partners is currently seeking a Total Rewards Coordinator to join our growing team.

Role Summary:

The Total Rewards Coordinator provides administrative and analytical support in the implementation and delivery of the organization's total rewards programs - including compensation, benefits, wellness and recognition initiatives. This role reports to the Senior Director, Total Rewards & HRIS.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions include:



  • Benefits Administration. Support the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, retirement, life and disability plans. Serve as a point of contact for employee benefit inquiries ensuring timely and accurate responses. Coordinate and assist with benefits events with vendors and supports open enrollment activities. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Wellness & Recognition Programs. Support the planning and delivery of wellness and employee engagement initiatives. Supports employee recognition programs and policies including Matching Gifts Policy and Education Reimbursement Policy.
  • Compensation Administration. Supports annual compensation cycle ensuring data accuracy and timely completion. Assists with compensation reporting as needed.
  • Stakeholder Management. Strong verbal and written communication experience required. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with cross-functional departments such as finance, Payroll and IT in performing daily functions.
  • Program Administration and Support: Produces accurate and timely standardized reporting for internal Total Rewards purposes and external distribution to other departments or vendors. Ensures all HR data is secure in storage, use and transmission. Manages Total Rewards shared email box, responding to inquiries timely and assigning inquiries to appropriate Total Rewards or HR team. Assists with filings, reporting and documentations as required.
  • Invoicing & Payments. Accountable to ensure timely set up of new vendors through the accounting process. Responsible for proper coding and timely and accurate payment for compensation, benefits, wellness and relocation programs.



Position Requirements:



  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates or bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field desired.
  • 2 years of experience in a fast paced, human resources environment preferred.
  • Preferred experience with applicant tracking systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Travel: 10%

  • Incumbent must have ability to work at a desk for extended periods of time.
  • Incumbent must have ability to work with filing system. Occasional lifting of archive boxes (+/- 20 lbs) is required.
