Security Officer - Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Decatur, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will be highly visible, providing reassurance and assistance to those on site. This role includes conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and delivering outstanding customer service. As this is a driving post, candidates must possess a valid driver's license in the job state. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the manufacturing and industrial location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior within the facility.
• Document observations and incidents clearly and promptly according to Allied Universal guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related duties.
• Support the enforcement of company rules and regulations as directed by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
