Salary Range: $105k-$125k

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Systems Cybersecurity Engineer professional supporting the Cyberspace Security and Control System (CSCS) Weapons System programs. CSCS provides 24/7 network mission assurance, network management and defensive cyberspace operations for the Air Force provisioned portion of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN).

CSCS is employed to generate, project, and sustain combat cyberspace power by providing mission assurance to the warfighter by conducting DODIN Operations and Internal Defense Measures (Defend) within the Air Force Network (AFIN).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• BA/BS and up to 3 years of experience, of which 3 years must be in the DoD
• Secret level Clearance

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The individual shall ensure that all system deliverables comply with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policy, specifically DoDI 8500.01, Cybersecurity, and AFI 17-130, Air Force Cybersecurity Program Management.
• The individual shall ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force Certification and Accreditation policies, specifically Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8510.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Systems, and AFI 17-101, The Risk Management Framework (RMF) for Air Force Information Technology.
• The individual shall support activities and meet the requirements of DoDI 8520.02, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Public Key (PK) Enabling, in order to achieve standardized, PKI-supported capabilities for biometrics, digital signatures, encryption, identification and authentication.
