Job Description




As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Specialist CRE in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. You will remain visible throughout your shift, interacting with tenants and visitors to support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unwanted behavior within the commercial real estate location.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to management and/or law enforcement as directed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and the location.
  • Assist with access control procedures, visitor management, and enforcement of property rules and regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
