Security Officer - Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Lompoc, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a leading aerospace and defense location. By conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service to all on site. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, where your presence and communication skills will contribute to a secure environment while upholding Allied Universal's values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Maintain detailed records of observations, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and the client.
• Collaborate with team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns and/or incidents.
• Follow all instructions and protocols specific to the aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
