Project Manager
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA | Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift (Onsite with Project Site Visits)
Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000 | Status: Exempt About TSF Structures

We're seeking a Project Manager to lead and deliver structural steel projects from contract award through closeout. This role is responsible for ensuring every TSF project is completed safely, profitably, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality. The Project Manager acts as the central point of communication, coordinating internal fabrication teams, detailers, erectors, suppliers, and general contractors to ensure scope, schedule, and client satisfaction remain in alignment. What You'll Do
Lead project kickoff and internal turnover meetings
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and milestones
Manage RFIs, submittals, contract documents, and change orders
Coordinate detailing, fabrication, purchasing, and shipping schedules
Attend general contractor coordination meetings (onsite and virtual)
Verify fabrication aligns with drawings and project specifications
Assist in progress billing and track collections
Monitor job costs, forecast profitability, and manage budgets
Communicate with general contractors and steel erection teams to resolve issues quickly
Ensure project safety and quality standards are maintained
Manage sub-fabricators, subcontractors, and suppliers
Conduct final project review and closeout documentation
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
4+ years of construction project management experience (structural steel preferred)
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications
Knowledge of steel fabrication and erection processes a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, scheduling tools, and project management software
Financial acumen with the ability to manage costs and track profitability
Valid driver's license
