As a Patrol Armed Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas while maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This post requires you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies to provide customer service and a secure environment at the location.
• Respond in a calm, problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Support access control measures and observe entry and exit points in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor for and report any unusual or suspicious activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established procedures and protocols.
• Document incidents and complete detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
• A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
