Occ Summary The Behavioral Threat Assessment Case Manager and Crisis Response Coordinator will be a core member of the Behavioral Threat Assessment Team working directly with the Director of Behavioral Threat Assessment and the Threat Assessment Investigator and will be involved in various aspects of behavior threat assessment, case management, violence prevention initiatives, victim advocacy, and behavioral crisis response. The case manager/coordinator will work collaboratively with university and health system partner units to support efforts to protect Duke University and Duke University Health System. The role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including conducting threat assessments, developing case management strategies, monitoring and tracking individual cases, ensuring compliance with recommendations, providing victim advocacy in cases interpersonal violence and stalking, collaborating with external agencies and law enforcement as needed, and providing comprehensive outreach services to faculty, staff, and students. The position requires a proactive approach to developing prevention and outreach campaigns related to workplace violence, interpersonal violence and stalking prevention, and other relevant topics. Inaddition to the case management responsibilities, the coordinator will assist the Director in establishing crisis response procedures and providing intervention and support to DUPD patrol officers in responding to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises and reported incidents of violence. The coordinator will be available for emergencies after hours and on weekends regarding relevant cases. Work Performed

Anticipated Pay Range: Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $61,535.00 to USD $95,880.00. A valid North Carolina Driver's License or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of start date. Experience Work requires 3 years' experience in the delivery of mental healthcare in a setting in which both trauma-informed care and crisis assessment.
