We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team in our Redding, CA location.



PRN Role!


Earn $33/hour.



The LVN provides direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and ensures implementation of physician orders, coordination of medical appointments, and continuity of care for individuals with complex medical needs. This is a structured, team-based environment where nurses are supported and empowered to deliver high-quality care.



Key Responsibilities


* Administer medications and treatments as ordered


* Monitor vital signs, blood glucose, seizure activity, skin integrity, and overall health status


* Provide skilled nursing care within LVN scope of practice


* Schedule and coordinate routine and specialty medical appointments


* Ensure medical documentation accompanies residents to appointments


* Receive, process, and implement physician orders promptly and accurately


* Track follow-up appointments, labs, and referrals to ensure completion


* Maintain accurate MARs and clinical documentation


* Report changes in condition to RN and medical providers


* Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings


* Respond appropriately to medical emergencies



Qualifications


* Active LVN license in good standing


* Current driver's license.


* Experience in long-term care, developmental services, or skilled nursing preferred


* Strong organizational and documentation skills


* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment



The position is responsible for overall medical needs of assigned individuals in our Intellectual Developmental Disability residential programs.
