Security Officer - Cultural Patrol Full-Time

As a Security Officer - Cultural Patrol Full-Time in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the location, which features cultural and community activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or property damage within the grounds of the location.
• Communicate professionally with visitors and/or staff, offering assistance and guidance as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of all activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and location staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for all patrons.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
