Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Warren, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, responding promptly to situations as they arise, and delivering outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Observe and report any unusual conditions or incidents encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities by following established protocols specific to the manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of patrols, incidents, and/or any site-specific occurrences.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
