As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and respond promptly to any situations. This armed and driving position requires you to interact professionally with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, agility, and reliability. Position Type: Part Time

Fully qualified armed applicants receive a $3,000 sign-on bonus, distributed over the first year!

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential threats.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for any unusual or suspicious activity, reporting findings to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by verifying the credentials of individuals entering secure areas within the location.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required for incidents occurring at the location.
• Prepare clear and concise reports on incidents, patrol activities, and observations as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Remain visible and approachable to assist employees, visitors, and members of the public as needed while maintaining a strong security-related presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
