Security Officer - Mall Patrol

As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol in Macedonia, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to those around you. Your role will focus on delivering exceptional customer service and communication, creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and employees. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate parties as required.
• Work collaboratively with location staff and local authorities as needed during emergencies or critical events.
• Assist with access control, helping to monitor entrances and exits to support a secure environment for employees and patrons.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
