As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Longview, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, supporting access control, and delivering excellent customer service through clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating company vehicles as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the chemical and petrochemical environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
• Monitor and document activities and incidents occurring on the premises, maintaining detailed records as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Observe and report potential hazards or unusual conditions in the location, escalating concerns through the appropriate channels.
• Assist with access control, verifying credentials of personnel, visitors, and contractors entering and/or exiting the facility.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency drills, evacuations, and/or other site-specific incidents as directed.
• Maintain a professional presence and provide a visible deterrent to potential security-related concerns within the chemical and petrochemical setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
