Security Officer - Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Chehalis, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a bustling retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout your assigned area. You will play a key role in fostering a welcoming environment by providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving position, so a valid driver's license is required as you patrol the premises, contributing to a secure shopping atmosphere for visitors and staff alike.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards to Allied Universal management and/or client contacts as required.
• Assist with access control and verify identification of persons entering and exiting the location as needed.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and interacting with store employees and visitors.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in provided logs or reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
