As a Security Officer - Access Control Full-Time in Sugar Grove, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to individuals at the location by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor the access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and verify credentials of all personnel, visitors, and/or vendors entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any irregularities.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all access control activities, visitor entries, and incidents as required by the client site.
• Work closely with site staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns specific to a food and beverage environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
