Job Description

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will provide strategic input, HR solutions, daily leadership, creative consultation, and leadership coaching/counseling for our Twinsburg plant and will be located in Twinsburg, OH. The HR Generalist will help support by working with the North America ISC HR Business Partner and Plant Leadership team in defining short-term and long-term organizational needs and solutions in focus areas of employee engagement and inclusion, change management, organizational design and job leveling, and compensation.

You will help partner with HR Services, HR COEs, and HR Business Partners to deliver the full value of HR to the business and also capture feedback from Rockwell Automation managers and employees for continuous improvement of HR processes.

You will report directly to the Manager, HRBP - ISC NA Manufacturing.

Your Responsibilities:

• Partner with HR Managers, CoEs, and leaders at a local level to bring value and support to the business through:
  • Coaching
  • Corrective action issues
  • Team building
  • Employee development
  • Compliance programs
  • University relations programs/activities
  • Performance management, including involuntary terminations
• Assist managers with communication for important changes
• Foster an inclusive culture by supporting the Workforce Engagement initiative
• Provide feedback to HR Services and CoEs to deliver continuous improvement and consistency to all employees.
• Local deployment support of HR programs (ex. Implementing new payroll methods locally, new HCM system, launching new CoE program, others).
• Deliver HR training activities provided by the COEs or HR Services to managers and employees.
• Partner with Legal and our Ombuds program on execution employee investigations
• Ensure, when site specific, all local policies and procedures are up to date along with any transition needed according to local legal requirements or organization change.
• Provide support to local managers on performance management to prevent employee concerns.
• Provide support for on-site audit/compliance reviews (regulatory/legal requirements). Comply with local laws related to ensuring a positive, non-discriminatory and safe work environment. These changes may include reviewing policies, procedures, handbooks and employment documents.
• Provide support for any company-wide changes or programs.
• Provide local support for corporate programs, such as engagement and inclusion programs, Global Voices (employee survey) and action planning.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field of study
• 2+ years of human resources experience in a manufacturing/ operations environment.
• 2+ years' experience in compensation, performance management, employee development, organizational development, consultation and coaching, change management, and employee relations.
