FOX Weather is seeking a dynamic Content Producer/Editor to create high-impact weather coverage and brand-integrated content across live studio shows, pre-produced original longform shows, digital platforms, and social channels. You'll develop both scripted and unscripted segments, edit compelling packages and shows, and produce seamless integrations with brand partners that align with FOX Weather's mission and tone.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce and edit story packages and longform shows from concept through delivery-covering both scripted and unscripted content.

  • Collaborate with meteorologists, producers, and digital teams to craft strong visual narratives.

  • Develop and manage brand-integration segments: write briefs, coordinate with partners, and deliver

  • Polished sponsor content that fits organically within programming.

  • Edit and version content for multiple platforms, including broadcast, app / OTT (over-the-top), website, and social (short form / vertical).

  • Write precise, clear scripts and ensure all content meets FOX Weather's editorial and visual standards.

  • Track performance metrics such as completion rates and engagement, refining future edits accordingly.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 10+ years producing and editing in live, news, weather, or digital video environments.

  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop preferred.

  • Strong storytelling, scriptwriting, and visual editing skills with an eye for pacing and clarity.

  • Experience producing and editing branded or sponsored content.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and during breaking weather events.

  • A genuine passion for weather storytelling and impactful visual communication.

  • On-time delivery of broadcast-quality segments requiring no revisions.

  • Noticeable growth in audience engagement and viewership retention across platforms.

  • Smooth integration of branded content that enhances rather than interrupts viewer experience.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $83,000.00-100,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
