JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:

The Senior Commercial Client Administrator serves as a subject matter expert, providing moderately complex administrative and operational support to Relationship Managers and direct client service to business clients. This role involves independent handling of tasks with potential financial exposure to the bank.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle complex client inquiries, account transactions, and documentation, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution.
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate required loan documentation, using platforms such as nCino and Salesforce.
  • Serve as a liaison between Relationship Managers, Lending Services, and other bank areas to coordinate workflows and resolve issues.
  • Monitor and analyze account activities, proactively addressing risks or discrepancies.
  • Support fraud monitoring efforts, including red flag activity and preparing Enhanced Due Diligence forms.
  • Identify opportunities to sell ancillary services like treasury management, merchant services, and wealth management, and assist with internal Relationship Reviews.
  • Participate in joint calls with clients at the invitation of Relationship Managers.
  • Provide advanced administrative support, including managing deposit relationships, setting up accounts, and assisting with loan payments and transfers.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies.
  • Mentor and assist junior Commercial Client Administrators as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Associate's degree preferred; bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in a commercial lending or client support function.
  • Working knowledge of loan documentation, financial statements, and ancillary bank services.
  • Proficient in banking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and client service skills.

ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
  • Ability to operate related equipment to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 10 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division an "undue hardship" then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
