Aerospace - Raw Materials Planner

As the Aerospace - Raw Materials Planner you will be responsible for ensuring the effective planning and procurement of raw materials to support site operations. In this role you will utilize ERP systems and material requirements planning (MRP) tools to maintain a steady supply chain flow aligned with demand. You will also collaborate with multiple departments and suppliers to optimize inventory levels, resolve discrepancies, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

In this role you will work on-site at our Mojave, CA and you will report directly to the Raw Material Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor raw material inventory using ERP and MRP tools to ensure continuous supply for manufacturing.
  • Analyze forecasts and usage data to maintain accurate planning parameters and update them to the site standards.
  • Promptly release purchase orders to approved suppliers, ensuring confirmations and documentation.
  • Use raw material cards for supplier information and monitor supplier performance, addressing issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with Sourcing, S&T, receiving, finance, and quality teams to resolve discrepancies, support material disposition, and complete corrective actions.
  • Participate in Material Review Team meetings and manage aged materials with Inventory Control.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships, contribute to process improvements, uphold 5S standards, and ensure compliance with safety and quality policies.

Qualifications:

  • Highschool diploma or Equivalent Required, Bachelor's degree in supply chain management preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems and material requirements planning tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret forecasting and usage data.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management, procurement processes, and inventory control.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.

The base salary range for this position is $68,000.00 - $75,000.00 annually. All offer amounts are determined by length/breadth of applicable experience and current departmental pay equity.
