Job Description: The Field Support Engineer will be responsible for customer site preparation consultation, on-site installation, implementation planning, maintenance and repair of Advantest systems solutions. This will include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems. Install and optimize hardware/software products and configurations at customer sites. Perform on-site calibration services per Advantest recommended calibration intervals. Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve product performance problems. Perform on-site maintenance and repair services. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance, best known methods/practices, and configurations, which may impact product system uptime performance. This job also entails working as account support manager, being single point of contact for all FS related activities globally, taking ownership of the whole account.
