PCG is seeking an experienced Project Management Training Facilitator to join our team in Lenexa, KS.


Job Description: Training Specialists are part of a team that is shaping and driving a learning culture at PCG. Their primary objective is to provide development and learning opportunities to all operational Project Management staff based on their experience in construction operations and, ideally, credible PCG knowledge. This role is responsible for leading the development and delivery of instructor-led, virtual and one-on-one training for Project Engineers, Project Managers & Estimators and creating training resources to meet the needs of the organization. Other essential functions include:



  • Work closely with operations to identify and gather training and development needs and solutions where needed
  • Assess business situations and develop goals and training/development strategies to improve business results and performance
  • Support content development of formal project management & estimating training workshops and job aids
  • Collaborate with product line teams to integrate product specific knowledge into project management training
  • Effectively deliver training to ensure participants are engaged and are motivated to master and apply learning on the job
  • Partner with individuals and key leadership stakeholders to assist and advise on execution of company policies and procedures
  • Act as a liaison between corporate departments and branches to ensure the validity and efficiency of workflows. Responsible for acting and working with both groups to resolve inefficiencies when applicable
  • Coach and mentor employees regarding personal and career development
  • Provide insight to branch succession and leadership development conversations
  • Market available training to employees and provide necessary information about sessions
  • Work closely with the Technical Training and Operation Development Teams to ensure the correct blend of learning and development is occurring in the proper format
  • Work with other members in the Operations Development team to create and administer cross-functional workshops
  • Assist in the identification, training, and management of internal Subject Matter Experts (SME) to aid in the mentorship of new hire Associate Project Engineers & Associate Estimators and delivery of Instructor Lead Education (ILE)
  • Network with other industry L&D groups to stay appraised of current trends
  • Assist the development of training content for emerging technologies, tools, and processes introduced through innovation programs/training
