As a Security Officer in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to company and client protocols.
• Collaborate with property management and/or law enforcement as directed in response to incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential risks and provide reassurance to tenants, visitors, and employees at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Being at least 21 years of age is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
