Security Guard - Distribution Patrol Driver

As a Security Guard - Distribution Patrol Driver in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas while remaining highly visible. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will conduct routine patrols, provide outstanding customer service, and maintain clear communication with visitors and staff, all while embracing Allied Universal's people-first culture built on teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client personnel to address security-related concerns and/or incidents.
• Assist in controlling access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required.
• Document incidents and complete necessary reports accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
